Khatri Bandhu Ice Cream began in 1989 when Girish and Rahul Khatri launched a small ice cream stall near Vitthal Mandir in Karve Nagar, Maharashtra, to support their family. Starting with three simple flavors—Mango, Pista, and Gulkand—the business has grown into a beloved brand known for its quality and innovation.

Over the years, they introduced popular offerings like Mastanis and Matka Ice Cream, expanded their menu, and automated production to meet growing demand. Today, with over 20 stores across Maharashtra, Khatri Bandhu continues to focus on delivering high-quality ice creams and Mastanis, while maintaining a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and community engagement.

How does it work?

Boiling The Milk

The fresh buffalo milk is boiled till its volume becomes almost half. This also increases the fat %, which lends that rich creamy feel in your mouth.

Preparing The Mix

Preparing The Mix

The homogenized milk is then cooled, and the fruits / dry fruits/ chocolates/ sugar are added at this stage as per the recipe of that flavour.

Hardening

Hardening

The ice cream that has been freshly prepared is then put in the hardening room, where its temperature is quickly brought down to -40 degrees.
